Ram KUMAR (1924-2018) ; Untitled ; 1955 ; oil on canvas / framed ; dimensions 66 x 61 cm (26 x 24 in.) ; frame size 87 x 83 cm (34 1/2 x 32 2/3 in.) ; signed and daed lower left corner ; Provenance - Acquired from the author in Prague after the 1955 exhibition. Later private collection, Prague. Ram Kumar visited Prague in 1955 on his way back from Helsinki, where he had participated in the World Peace Congress. This was his debut exhibition in the city, held at the National Museum.
